I have "simpsonized" myself!!

Have a look kids at my simpsonized image. I´m looking forward to seeing yours!! I think I look better as a Simpsons character than in real life!!

USEFUL SITES

Here I'm pasting a couple of links that you might find useful when revising for a test:

www.englishpage.com

www.dictionary.cambridge.org

And just for fun, a site where you can "simpsonize" your face. You need to have a pic of yourself in your pc to do this. Log in to:

http://simpsonizeme.com/

it would be great if you could paste here the resulting pics! Have fun!!

Braveheart

We have all read "Braveheart" and many have seen the film. However, when some events from real life are turned into movies or books, some facts are changed to make the story "more appealing". Can you find the differences between the story told in the book and what really happened? Why is he one of the greatest heroes of Scottish history? Does he compare to any of our local heroes? What do you know about Scotland's present?

Looking forward to your comments!!

Joke corner

As the introduction says, we are supposed to have fun in here while learning, so we thought of a "Joke corner". Some of you really love to tell jokes, so this is a good chance to make us all laugh. Of course, it goes without saying that the jokes must be in English. They could be things you donwload from internet, jokes that you translated from Spanish or even jokes you made up!! We can all vote for the best joke of the month and choose a winner. The prize? Mmmm, what about a lollipop? Votes can be cast until September 7th. Who knows? We might find the new Matías Alé!! (male or female version!!). Now to break the ice, we are posting one. Comments are welcome
